Military soldiers share exercise routes via fitness tracker

(MENAFN) Army soldiers across the globe are openly publishing their exercise paths, within or near military bases, for the world to see online.

A "heatmap" to view its users log's routes while they exercise has been launched by online fitness tracker Strava.

The tracker also seems to demonstrate foreign military bases' formation while soldiers move around inside.

The United States military was confirmed by US Central Command's spokesman Air Force Colonel John Thomas to be inspecting the heatmap.
