Jordan- Trade minister caps bread prices
(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Jan. 26 (Petra)-- -Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply Yaroub Qudan decided to cap bread prices as previously announced by the government, in accordance with cabinet's decisions in this regard.
The new prices of bread will go into effect as of tomorrow until December 31, 2018.
The new prices will range between JD 0.32 and JD 0.40 per kilogram.
The decision came after military and civil service employees, retirees, Social Security Corporation pensioners and beneficiaries of the National Aid Fund received funds in their bank accounts.
