Tourism cooperation discussed in Bahrain
(MENAFN)Discussing ways to boost cooperation between the World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO) and Bahrain Tourism and Exhibition Authority (BTEA); Zayed bin Rashid Al Zayani, Bahrain's Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism today received Secretary-General of the UNWTO.
Contributing to achieving Bahrain Economic Vision 2030, ways in which Bahrain's family tourism could be enhanced at the regional and global levels were discussed, in addition to improving tourism sector.
The BTEA has gained membership of the UNWTO's Executive Council, 2018-2021, in recognition of its efforts to develop the local tourism sector.
