(MENAFN) Qatar's military aircraft has intercepted two civilian UAE planes as they were on their way to Bahrain, according to the UAE's General Civil Aviation Authority.
The planes were on scheduled flights to a known destination, and this move by Qatar was a severe violation of international law, and an infringement of safety standards, According to the authority
The UAE will take every step possible to ensure safety of its planes and passengers, it said as it strongly condemned the move.
