UAE mission in New York delivers response to Qatari allegations at UNSC
ABU DHABI, 16th January, 2018 (WAM) -- Yacoub Yousef Al Hosani, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, MoFAIC, has said that the UAE Permanent Mission to the United Nations in New York has delivered the state's response that refutes Qatari allegations contained in a memorandum to the UN Security Council concerning the alleged infiltration of its airspace by a UAE military aircraft.
In a statement, the Ministry condemned, in the strongest terms, the State of Qatar's usual tactics to unjustifiably escalate tensions further. MoFAIC reiterated that the military aircraft was flying outside of Qatari airspace.
The Ministry denounced the current escalation by Qatar, and called upon the country to abide by international law and customs.
