Kuwait- His Highness amir receives UNGA pres., OPEC chief
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Jan 16 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received at Bayan Palace Tuesday President of the 72nd session of the UN General Assembly Miroslav Lajcak on the occasion of visiting the country.
The guest and his accompanying delegation were escorted by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah.
His Highness the Amir also received Secretary General of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) Mohammed Barkindo on the occasion of his visit to the country.
The receptions were attended by Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Ali Jarrah Al-Sabah and Minister of Oil and Minister of Electricity and Water Bukheet Al-Risheedi. (end) hb
