Qatar denies UAE's claims
(MENAFN) After the UAE claim of the Qatari fighter jets on Monday morning intercepting a passenger plane, the Qatari government spokesman Saif Al Thani denied the allegation on Twitter.
Al-Thani said that the UAE claim is "completely untrue," adding that a detailed statement would come later today.
Etihad Airways and Emirates Airlines, The UAE's two major national carriers, refused to comment when reached by the Associated Press.
Earlier this year, Qatar has accused the UAE of violating Qatari airspace.
