Turkish Pres., Qatari Amir discuss regional developments
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) ANKARA, Jan 15 (KUNA) -- Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held talks Monday with visiting Qatari Amir Sheikh Tamim Al-Thani on bilateral relations and developments in the region, sources at the presidency said.
They were quoted by Andolu news agency as saying the two leaders, meeting for two and a half hours, exchanged views on a host of issues of mutual interest at the regional level.
The meeting was attended by officials from the two sides.
Sheikh Tamim arrived in Ankara earlier today. This is his second visit in a month since attending the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Istanbul. (end) rs.bs
