Hawaii reassigns employee responsible for false missile alert

(MENAFN) An American official confirmed the worker who accidently sent the false missile alert in Hawaii to have been reassigned to other duties for the time being.

The reassignment came as a result of the employee sending a ballistic missile alert that terrorized citizens of Hawaii before it was declared as false.

The mistake created uproar with doubts surrounding Hawaii alert system as US media regulator chairman Ajit Pai accused the state of not having "reasonable safeguards or process controls" to avoid such an error.
