Dubai Future Foundation: 'One Million Arab Coders' receive 250,000 applicants


(MENAFN) Dubai Future Foundation (DFF) declared its programme "One Million Arab Coders" to have received 250,000 applications from people who wish to be among the 100,000 participants.

The foundation explained the applicants to be sorted into eight annual rounds, as each round includes four academic courses: data analysis, smart applications development, smart website design, and website programming.

UAE's Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence and deputy managing director of DFF Omar bin Sultan Al Olama stated "the 'One Million Arab Coders' is a landmark initiative to empower Arab youth and help them acquire the skills of the future."

He continued "this embodies the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, in developing the knowledge and skills of young people in the Arab region [and] keeping the up to speed with the rapidly changing demands of the labor market of the future."
