Qatar reach USD9bn in Turkish economic investment
(MENAFN) Qatar's investment in Turkey is estimated to witness a major surge in the future as it has already seen a boost of over $19 billion.
Qatar has put its investment in various sectors of the Turkish economy including -among others- food, real estate and banking.
Turkish Ambassador to Qatar Fikret Ozer stated "Qatar's investments in Turkey is growing fast and steadily. The cumulative value of Qatari investments (both public and private) has reached over $19bn, and with the completion of many ongoing projects and upcoming projects which are currently in the pipeline, it will surge further in the coming years."
The ambassador further added "these investments are mainly in Turkey's promising sectors such as real estate, telecom, IT, banking and finance, and other industries."
