Iraq to call for foreign oil companies for housing construction
(MENAFN) Baghdad oil ministry released a statement announcing Iraq to request from foreign oil firms to construct accommodations for citizens working on their projects.
The statement declared Oil Minister Jabar al-Luaibi to have "issued a general notice which commits contracted companies to build modern housing compounds and provide essential services to employees."
The companies operating in Iraq that are to be offered with the agreement are to include ENI, BP, Petronas, ExxonMobil, Royal Dutch Shell, PetroChina, Gazprom, Total, and Lukoil.
