QGBC signs MoU with Al Sulaiti Law Firm


(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Qatar Green Building Council (QGBC), a member of Qatar Foundation, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Al Sulaiti Law Firm, a full-service Qatari law firm.
The signatories were QGBC chairman Meshal al-Shamari and Al Sulaiti Law Firm chairman Mubarak al-Sulaiti. The partnership kicked off with a training session presented by QGBC's communications head Hamoda Youssef to Al Sulaiti Law Firm employees, highlighting the Well Building Standard and the importance of supporting and promoting human health and well-being through buildings, interior spaces, and communities.
The main goals of the MoU are to disseminate knowledge and awareness on sustainability, offer training opportunities, and provide appropriate certification through each other's respective partners.
Al-Shamari said, 'We look forward to a constructive exchange that will enable both our organisations to work together to introduce and achieve sustainable practices within a business environment. The signing of this MoU demonstrates our continuous active role in society to create and maintain sustainable environments that can be of benefit to future generations for years to come.
Al-Sulaiti added, 'We are very pleased to be partnering with Qatar Green Building Council to promote sustainability through co-operative relations and exchanges. We look forward to working together to advance awareness towards a more sustainable business environment. This agreement is an example of collaborative innovation for the greater benefit of our respective members and stakeholders.
