Kuwait jails officer over leaking classified information on Twitter
(MENAFN) Kuwait has sentenced an Interior Ministry officer to seven days in detention over leaking classified information.
He created a fake twitter account using a pseudonym and started divulging sensitive information about Kuwaitis and expatriates regularly on the social media platform.
The officer was referred to a military disciplinary panel which ordered his detention for seven days.
