Doha: The Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani issued Emiri Decision No 2 for 2018 on Tuesday restructuring the Board of Directors of the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy (SC).
The decision stipulates that the Board of Directors of the SC is to be chaired by the Emir, with Personal Representative of the Emir H H Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani as Vice chairman and the membership of Prime Minister and Minister of Interior H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani, H E Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al-Thani, H E Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al-Thani as Managing Director, Minister of Finance , Minister of Culture and Sports, Minister of Development Planning and Statistics, Minister of Transport and Communications, Minister of Municipality and Environment and President of Qatar Football Association.
The Decision also stipulates that the term of Board Membership shall be four years and may be renewed for one or more similar tenures.
The Decision shall enter into force on the date of issuance and shall be published in the Official Gazette.
