Pakistan- Gas outages irks residents of Hayatabad


(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) PESHAWAR: Residents of Hayatabad Township on Tuesday staged protest demonstration against gas load-shedding outside Sui-Northern Gas Pipeline Limited (SNGPL).

The protesters also chanted slogans against the provincial government for causing inconvenience to them due to ongoing Bus Rapid Transit project. They said that they could neither prepare breakfast for their children nor meal due to gas loadshedding.

General Manager of the department Saqib Arbab said that work was underway to relocate pipelines due to the project that caused temporary low gas supply and the consumers were facing gas outages.

He said that the pipelines were being relocated in Saddar, Hayatabad and inner Peshawar city due to which consumers would face gas outages till June.
