(MENAFN- UkrinForm) The activists held a simultaneous flash mob in Moscow (Russia) and Chicago (USA) to demand the cessation of hostilities in Syria and express support for Crimea.

Participant in the flash mob in Moscow Vera Lavreshina said this to Crimea.Realities portal.

The activists in Moscow held the posters "Stop war in Syria, Ukraine, Georgia" and "Terrorists are occupiers from Kremlin, not Muslims of Crimea." In Chicago, the activist wore traditional Ukrainian Christmas garments and held the posters "Russia out of Crimea."

The activists in Chicago were gathered by David Turpin.

"David from Chicago offered us to participate in a flash mob (round-the-world) in support of Syria without Assad and Putin, which we did here in Moscow. In turn, he gathered Ukrainian activists and they expressed the support for the Ukrainian Crimea. It's an amazing experience to hold simultaneous actions!" said Vera Lavreshina, who has been holding rallies in Moscow in support of Crimea and Crimean Tatars for more than a year.
