Jordan- Gradual warm up forecast for three days


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Jan.9 (Petra) – A slight rise in temperatures is expected on Tuesday, but it will continue to be relatively cold in the hilly areas and pleasant in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department(JMD) daily brief.

Daytime temperatures forecast for today in the capital and the northern regions will reach 17 degrees Celsius dropping down to 5 and 8 respectively, while mercury levels in the Gulf of Aqaba will register 23 degrees sliding to 6 at night, the JMD added.

Mercury levels will continue to rise a few degrees over the next two days, but similar weather conditions are expected to prevail across the country with southeasterly light winds, the department said.
