Pakistan- PAT deadline for resignation for CM Punjab, Rana Sanaullah ends

(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) LAHORE: Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) deadline for the resignations of Shehbaz Sharif and Rana Sanaullah set at an all parties conference (APC) expired on Sunday.

PAT said that the party leadership would discuss its protest strategy with its allies before a future course of action is announced by the steering committee.

To this effect, a meeting of PAT's central core committee was held under the supervision of Dr Tahirul Qadri where a strategy of protest was discussed, keeping in view the end of the deadline, although other options also came up.

Dr Qadri, while addressing the core committee, said that a protest strategy would be shared and discussed with all the APC participants before it is finalised by the steering committee.

PAT in a press statement issued here said that in pursuit of justice for the Model Town martyrs the party will proceed with collective ownership as it has already been declared by the APC as a matter of humanity.
