UAE- Cops rescue 2 men from mountains in Fujairah

(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) Two Emirati men stranded in Al Fujairah's Safad mountains over the night were rescued by the police. The two Emiratis were driving around the mountains and had to get off their car to look for the right direction. However, they failed to find their way and worse still, couldn't locate the place where they had halted their car.

Brigadier General Hamid Mohammed Humaid Al-Yamahi, director general of police operations at Al Fujairah Police, said they received a call that two people travelling in the mountains of Safad had got stuck. Al Mariah police station was contacted to initiate a rescue operation and managed to reach the two victims - one aged 34 years and the other 31 - who fortunately were found in good health condition.
