Oman- ROP allows football fans to decorate cars till January 15

(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- The ROP has announced that football fans wishing to cheer the national team can decorate their cars till January 15 in accordance to the rules specified.

'The stickers should be restricted to images and phrases related to the occasion and in support of the national team's win in the 23rd Gulf Cup,' said an ROP official. In a statement, the ROP said that vehicle owners should ensure decorative materials such as posters and stickers should not block the line of vision.

'Posters should be limited to encouragement of the Oman's football team. Stickers should not be pasted on the front windshield, side window panes or the number plate of the vehicle. It should also not cover the headlights. Stickers on the rear window must be see through and should be stuck from inside.'

Motorists should also ensure that posters do not contain any offensive material, the statement added. 'No inappropriate or offensive phrases must be printed. The posters and stickers should not distort the colour or shape of the vehicle or violate any road safety regulation.'
