Jordan- Lower House begins budget debate..................1st LD

(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) MP Oqleh Al Zabon said economic policies should focus on reviving the economy and not just reducing the public debt, while MP Abdullah Al Qaramseh criticized the increase in taxes and called for finding alternative solutions to address poverty and create job opportunities.

MP Mifleh Al Khaza'leh also spoke about the difficult economic and financial conditions and the rise in public debt that leads to more poverty and unemployment, adding that Jordan, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, is doing its utmost to overcome the difficult conditions to preserve security and stability.
