Syrian civilians in desperate need for medical care
(MENAFN) Waiting for evacuation from Syrian siege, more than 400 patients on a UN list that were left behind on Friday and only 29 people were moved to Damascus to receive medical care, said the Red Cross.
The list reached 494 names in November and 12 patients died waiting to be treated, said Jan Egeland, UN humanitarian adviser.
The fighting that killed dozens of people moved fighters to an area between Idlib and Hama, this on-going conflict raised the number of casualties to 90 since last Monday, reported the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
