(MENAFN- Gulf Times) The Bedaya Centre for Entrepreneurship and Career, a joint initiative by
Qatar Development Bank and Silatech, has organised the ‘Souq Maqtoora:
National Day Edition' known as the first rotating market in the
country.
Souq Maqtoura will run until March between 4pm to 9pm at Katara - the
Cultural Village aimed at supporting entrepreneurs in the country.
With the participation of more than 30 projects, the event is described
as an exceptional initiative showcasing products that focus and
highlights the spirit of Qatar's National Day celebrations.
Souq Maqtoura also demonstrates the efforts of entrepreneurs in responding to the unjust blockade imposed on the country.
'This initiative provides the necessary platform for entrepreneurs to
leave a distinct footprint in the local market, Bedaya general manager
Reem al-Suwaidi said.
Bedaya highlighted the special version of Souq Maqtoura at the
celebration to shows its support for local businesses. It was
demonstrated by the participation of entrepreneurs from diverse sectors
such as textiles, accessories, and fragrance, among others.
'Through Souq Maqtoura, we have been able support many companies and
startups to showcase their distinctive products that coincide with the
National Day celebrations, she added.
