Oman- PAEW opens new water network areas in Muscat


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- The Public Authority for Electricity and Water (PAEW) has opened water distribution networks in the Yeti area of the Governorate of Muscat, which includes Hilat al Hisn and Yeti and its related areas, the Gulf of Muscat Project and Barr al Jissah Resort, whose implementation was recently completed.

The project includes water pumping stations, tanks, and water pipelines for the main and secondary transport and distribution network.

The implementation of the new water network and the opening of the reception of connection application in the areas of Al Ma'laiaf, Hilat al Lathila, Al Aqeer in the wilayat of Bahla in the Governorate of Dakhliyah have also been completed.

The construction of water networks in Al Ma'laif, Al Lathila and Al Aqeer are part of the project to construct distribution networks in the wilayat of Bahla. The project covers more than 30 villages in the wilayat.

Applications in the wilayat of Bahla were received in the customer service hall in Bahla. Applications for the Yeti area are being received in the customer service hall in the wilayat of Bausher or the customer service hall in the wilayat of Amerat.

PAEW is continuing to set up water transmission and distribution networks according to strategic plans covering all the governorates of the sultanate.
