Jordan suspends poultry imports from Saudi Arabia
(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Dec. 27 (Petra) -- The Ministry of Agriculture decided to suspend live and thermally-processed poultry imports from Saudi Arabia until further notice, due to high bird flu infections, according to a report published by the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE).
A ministry report said Wednesday its Veterinary Department is closely following global reports that investigate bird flu cases and other diseases that pose a threat to human health and the agricultural sector, especially those affecting livestock.
