German motorway bridge hit by Swiss cruise ship injuring more than 25


(MENAFN) Local media reported a Swiss cruise ship with 129 people onboard to have collided into a motorway bridge in Germany injuring more than 25 people.

A pillar of the bridge close to the western city of Duisburg had received a hit Tuesday from the 328 feet vessel which was cruising on the Rhine river.

After the crash, injured people were confirmed to have been inflicted with slight wounds that four people in the hospital were released the following day. However, the bridge was shut as authorities conduct structural tests.
