(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman has said that a new export strategy will help Ukraine to enter new markets.
He stated said this at a government meeting on Wednesday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
'Exports of the country means tens of billions of dollars that the country will receive from the products manufactured in Ukraine. It should be noted that total exports grew by almost 20% in 2017, Groysman said.
According to him, Ukraine over nine months of the current year received 35 billion of dollars from exports.
"We have the task of filling our own market with high-quality products and supporting Ukrainian exports. We are exporting to almost 160 countries of the world, starting with raw materials and ending with finished products," the prime minister said.
He noted that the new export strategy will be aimed at increasing export volumes and opening new markets.
"By the way, the European Union has already reached almost 40% in the structure of exports. We are entering new markets, Asian markets," Groysman said.
