AMMAN — The Lower House of Parliament on Tuesday listened to its Finance Committee's report on the draft laws for the state budget and the budgets of independent government units.

In attendance of Prime Minster Hani Mulqi and the Cabinet minsters, the House is slated to begin in its Sunday session the state budget discussions.

The finance panel's report stipulates extending monetary allocations to serving civic and military manpower and pensioners in both sectors, having incomes less than 1,500 Jordanian dinars, and maintaining the 177 million JODs appropriations to handle the gov't budgetary measures.
