(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Dec 26 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received at Bayan Palace Tuesday the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Science (KFAS) Director General Dr. Adnan Shehab Eddin and winners of the 2017 KFAS Awards.
The winners included Dr. Talal Al-Azmi (Physical Sciences and Mathematics); Dr. Raed Al-Roughani (Medical Sciences and Allied Health Science); Dr. Fayez Al-Thufairi (Social Sciences and Humanities) and Dr. Meshari Al-Fereih (Administration and Economics).
His Highness the Amir lauded the winners for their scientific achievements, hoping that they would further contribute to the development of their country.
His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah wished the winners the best in their future endeavors.
On their part, the winners of the KFAS Awards thanked His Highness the Amir for his sincere sentiments and wishes for success, stressing that they would do their best to contribute to Kuwait's welfare and progression.
