At Nikai, we believe that it is our responsibility to be compassionate towards those in need. We all must ensure that we contribute towards community in every way we can. This sentiment resonates throughout our organization. These two Centers are doing a great job, and it gives us satisfaction in supporting them, he added.

In December 2016, the UAE President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan declared 2017 as ‘The Year of Giving' with three key pillars for ‘giving' as the highlight - Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Volunteering and Serving the Nation.

The ‘Year of Giving' was inspired by the ideals of generosity, which lie at the heart of the nation's identity and the example of the country's founding father, H.H. Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. The legacy of giving resonates even today in the policies established by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai. These systems provide a comprehensive framework for humanity through initiatives, strategies, and programs intended to celebrate the virtues of giving and embed compassion in the heart of the nation.
