Jordan- PM congratulates Christians on Christmas, New Year
(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Dec. 25 (Petra)-- Prime Minister Hani al-Mulki congratulated the Christian community in the Kingdom on the Christmas and new year.
This came as he met at Saint Mary of Nazareth Church, on Monday, with leaders and representatives of the Christian communities across the Kingdom.
''We have witnessed a lot of challenges this year but Jordanians have proved with their loyalty to the Hashemite leadership that there is nothing difficult,'' al-Mulki said during the meeting.
Al-Mulki said that His Majesty King Abdullah II's call to Jordanians of self- reliance does mean only the economic sphere but also in the political field, in order to support our stance towards our legitimate causes.
The meeting was attended by a number of ministers.
