Kuwait- Stunt motorist flees police 'drifting' on rise
Equipment stolen: An unidentified individual stole heavy equipment worth KD 20,000 from a store of construction materials in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh area. According to security sources, when the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received a call from an employee of the store about the theft, securitymen rushed to the location. The store manager informed securitymen that the lock of the store was broken, and engines, electrical equipment, metal pipes and construction materials worth KD 20,000 were stolen. Fingerprints were lifted by Criminal Investigations officers and a case was filed. Meanwhile, a Kuwaiti citizen lodged a complaint at Jahra Police Station against an unknown individual who stole the tyres of his car which was parked in front of a house in Taima area.
Fire in pharmacy: Firefighters extinguished a fire that engulfed a pharmacy shop opposite the Jewelry Market at Mubarakiya. The incident led to a massive material loss without any record of human casualty, says Al-Seyassah. A security source said officers at the Operations Room dispatched rescue officers, paramedics and firefighters to the scene immediately after receiving a distress call concerning the incident.
