Dubai launch trial run of first hydrogen powered taxi
(MENAFN) Dubai has initiated a test run for Toyota Mirai, the first electric hydrogen fuel-cell electric vehicle ever seen in the Dubai taxi fleet.
The new launched vehicle has been described as silent, has the capacity to travel 500km on a full tank with a mere five minutes to consume in order to refill it, it also has only water emissions.
The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) director general and chairman Mattar Al Tayer is said to be the leader who launched the trial.
