Oman produces 28 million barrels of crude oil last month

MUSCAT, 20th December, 2017 (WAM) -- Oman's total crude oil and condensates production during November 2017 stood at 28,883,490 barrels, a daily average of 962,783 barrels, the Oman News Agency, ONA, reports.

Crude oil exports reached 24,430,262 barrels, a daily average of 814,342 barrels, a rise of 0.56 percent over the previous month, the agency said.

Imports by China rose by 84 percent, compared to October, with Taiwanese imports dropping by 0.2 percent and Indian imports falling by 22.58 percent.

The price of the Oman Crude Oil Future Contract at Dubai Mercantile Exchange, DME Oman, rose by 9.3 percent compared to October.

The price of Omani crude, for January 2018 delivery, was set at US$60.79 a barrel, a rise of US$5.19 over the December 2017 delivery price.
