(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- The Uttaranchal Wing of the Indian Social Club would be captivating the music lovers of Muscat by organising a musical event with a renowned troupe of folk singers from Uttarakhand, India at the Embassy Auditorium, on December 22.
Popular Uttarakhandi singers Kishan Mahipal, Sangeeta Dhoundiyal, Khushi Joshi and other renowned performers would be flying to Muscat to regale music lovers. Accompanying them will be popular stand-up comedian Ghananand.
The event would be the last leg of their tour to the Gulf countries called 'The Gulf Koutig 2017'. These Indian performers would conclude the week-long tour in Oman after having successfully entertained audiences in the UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait and Qatar.
H E Indra Mani Pandey, India's Ambassador to Oman, has kindly consented to be the chief guest at the cultural event. The beautiful state of Uttarakhand lies on the southern slope of the Himalayas where music resides in each soul.
It is well-known for its hill stations, higher elevations, glaciers, subtropical forests, Himalayan rivers, variety of fruits, valley of flowers, diverse festivities, river rafting, pilgrimage tourism, etc. Uttarkhand is a paradise of peace seekers.
Uttaranchal Wing of Indian Social Club, one of the most vibrant and lively wings, came into existence in 2005, would also be celebrating 12 years of cultural existence in Oman with this star-studded event.
The wing endeavours in giving an opportunity to the community from Uttarakhand state, living in Oman. It gives an opportunity to celebrate and enjoy their culture of togetherness in this beautiful land, which is a home away from home.
