(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- Reinforcing its efforts to be the best in the gulf by providing suitable training and development for its staff, BankDhofar recently launched its training and developing platform 'Performance Academy'.
The launch ceremony was held under the patronage of H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Abdullah al Bakri, Minister of Manpower, and attended by the chairman Eng Abdul Hafidh Salim Rajab al Aujaili, top executive management team and a number of invitees.
H E Bakri said, 'We congratulate BankDhofar for this achievement. Performance Academy will contribute to developing human resources of the bank, which will positively reflect on BankDhofar's performance. His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said has placed great importance in developing human resources being the key pillar of development. We have seen great efforts at BankDhofar with this regard which translated in the inauguration of Performance Academy.'
Abdul Hakeem Omar al Ojaili, CEO, BankDhofar, said, 'We would like to thank our partners who guided us through our journey to develop the learning and development strategy. We thank to Ministry of Manpower, Central Bank of Oman and College of Banking and Financial Studies.'
Dr Yasmeen al Balushi, dean of Muscat College, lauded the efforts by BankDhofar in establishing Performance Academy. Dr Khalid al Hamadani, head, Performance Academy, said, 'At BankDhofar, we believe that by training and developing talents of our employees, we will be able to achieve our goals and provide best services and products to our customers.'
