Kuwait- Job designation change affects the validity of driving licence
(MENAFN- Arab Times) My driving licence was issued on Aug 24, 2014 for 10 years with designation 'driver'. But now my designation in my new company is being changed to 'technician'. Please advise whether after my designation change my driving license will get cancelled or not?

Answer: The job designations, which when changed will affect the validity of a driving licence include drivers, student, housewife and company representative (mandoub). Your change of designation from 'driver' to 'technician' in your new company will render your driving licence invalid and hence automatically cancelled.
