The renowned Wuhan Acrobatic and Cultural Troupe is set to dazzle the audience as with their world-class performance at Katara Drama Theatre in February.
Wuhan acrobatic troupe is one of the oldest yet finest in China. The troupe built a rich history of acrobatics and held numerous international performances. Wuhan has performed in 150 countries and has trained many teams from the Arab world.
The upcoming show was discussed during a meeting between Katara General Manager Dr. Khalid bin Ibrahim Al-Sulaiti and Chinese Ambassador Li Chen yesterday. During the meeting, formal discussions were held with an aim to enhance joint cultural cooperation through a host of cultural events that contribute to strengthening and deepening relations between the Qatar and China. The Chinese envoy praised the role of Katara in the dissemination of culture and arts and its unceasing efforts as it successfully embraces various cultural and artistic events that witness huge audiences.
The envoy exuded thanks and appreciation to the Cultural Village for providing its facilities that support cultural activities, hoping that this cooperation will be enhanced in the near future and will take to new and wider horizons of innovation in various cultural fields. Dr. Al Sulaiti welcomed the proposal of hosting Chinese Cultural activities and hoping that the mutual-ties between the entities will develop to maintain their level of friendship and cooperation.
