Nanjing Massacre victims' memorial ceremony attended by Chinese President Xi


(MENAFN) In the 80th anniversary of Nanjing Massacre, the state memorial ceremony Wednesday was honored with the presence of Chinese President Xi Jinping.

The memorial ceremony which took place in the eastern city of Nanjing, Jiangsu province also embraced the attendance of several other senior officials.

President Xi and senior officials were in the company of representatives at the ceremony which started at 10am and paid a one-minute silent tribute to the souls of victims of the massacre as sirens howled over the city.
