A reception to mark the 26th anniversary of the Independence of Kazakhstan was held on Monday night at 'Grand Hyatt Doha by the Embassy of Kazakhstan to Qatar.
The event was attended by a wide range of politicians of Qatar, Minister of Endowments (Awqaf) And Islamic Affairs,
H E Dr Gaith bin Mubarak Al Kuwari, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, H E Ahmad Al Hamadi, Group CEO of the Qatar Airways, Akbar Al Baker, General Manager of Katara Cultural village, Dr. Khalid bin Ibrahim Al Sulaiti and leading businessmen, heads of diplomatic missions accredited in Qatar, representatives of cultural, scientific circles and the citizen of Kazakhstan in Qatar as well as media.
In his address to the guests, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan Askar Shokybaev focused on the main decisions and strategies of the Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev, which laid the foundation of modern statehood and its progressive development in the early days of its Independence, and noted the country's achievements in political, economic and cultural and humanitarian fields over the past 26 years, emphasizing separately the role and authority of our country in the international arena.
