Fairfax Media makes deal with Google


(MENAFN) Fairfax Media has made an agreement with Google, in order to improve its digital advertising and publishing technology, and lead to digital subscription growth.

The media company said Google will benefit it sell and market ads for Brisbane Times, The Australian Financial Review, The Sydney Morning Herald, lifestyle products and The Age.

The two companies will begin working next year, putting the attention on premium ad products, relationships with clients and new commercial solutions, as they will also cooperate to improve the publishing technology and digital innovation.

Fairfax managing director of Australian metro publishing said: "We are bringing the very best that Fairfax has to offer together with the smarts and capability of Google."
