Theresa May to declare new 'sense of optimism' in Brexit talks

(MENAFN) Following her deal to move Brexit talks into the next phase, Theresa May is to assure MPs that there is a new "sense of optimism" existing in the talks.

PM Theresa May plans to say that at a summit set for Thursday, she anticipates EU figures to accept the start of future trade and security talks.

Moreover, she is to stress the fact that she didn't surrender to Brussels about the supposed divorce bill and "alignment" with the laws of EU, the PM is also to point out that she didn't wander astray from the values she initially set out during a speech she delivered in January over Brexit.
