Kuwait- OAPEC 99th ministerial meeting opens

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Dec 10 (KUNA) -- Egypt's Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tariq Al-Mulla inaugurated here Sunday the 99th meeting of the Council of Ministers of Organization of Arab Petroleum Exporting Countries (OAPEC).

The opening was attended by Saudi Minister of Energy Abdulaziz Bin Salman Al-Saud and Kuwait Minister of Oil Essam Al-Marzouq.

The meeting tackled the draft budget of the Organization for 2018 and has reviewed the activities of the Secretariat for 2017.

The meeting has also reached a number of recommendations on the agenda and of importance to the Organization in achieving its objectives due to difficult regional circumstances. (end) osj.ss
