CAIRO, 9th December, 2017 (WAM) -- A delegation from the Emirates Human Rights Association, EHRA, has participated in a regional symposium on the development of regional human rights mechanism and systems.
Mohammed Al Kaabi, Chairman of the EHRA, headed the EHRA delegation at the event, which was organised by the Department of Human Rights of the Arab League, in partnership with the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights.
Held at the Arab League headquarters in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, the event discussed regional experiments and mechanisms for the protection of human rights.
Case studies from Africa, Asia and Europe, as well as the Arab and Muslim world, were also reviewed.
