50 Airbus planes to be purchased by Qatar Airways
(MENAFN) Plans to buy 50 Airbus 321 planes have been unveiled by Qatar Airways, the flat carrier of Qatar, a report by Money Control said.
The news was revealed during a state visit by French President Emmanuel Macron, said the report.
While includes an option for the Gulf carrier to buy another 30 planes, the contract comes as the country is hit by a trade and diplomatic boycott by neighboring countries amid the worst political crisis in years in the region, the report said.
