
Abu Dhabi Police participate in security conference in Australia
CANBERRA, 8th December, 2017 (WAM) -- Abu Dhabi Police participated in a conference on technological weapons hosted by the Australian capital recently.
Major Ahmed Al Junaibi, Head of the Post Blast Section at the Weapons & Explosives Department, addressed the conference on the Abu Dhabi Police's experience in forming a Post-Blast Investigation Team in 2010 and the efforts made to qualify and train the team as per best international practices.
Al Junaibi said the conference included presentations regarding investigative techniques, communication and data systems and the latest forensic capabilities technology.
By bringing together more than 250 explosives experts and technicians from different world countries, including US, Germany, and New Zealand, in addition to the host nation, the event offered an opportunity for networking seminars where delegates established valuable business relationships and exchanged lessons learned and expertise, he added.
