Scotland: 'acceptable racism' remain against Gypsies


(MENAFN) According to the nineteen year old campaigner Davie Donaldson, in Scotland, bias against Gypsy/Travelers has turned into the last outline of "acceptable racism," he also claimed that ever since the 1980s, the public view of Gypsies "remained stagnant."

Gypsies are struggling to this day with education and are frequently barred from establishing camps, as claimed by Donaldson.

Through placing the issue under spotlight, the equalities committee of the Scottish Parliament is marking Human Rights Day 2017. It found during research that "entrenched and stubbornly high levels of discrimination" against the community.
