(MENAFN) It was announced Wednesday by John Weaver, who worked on Sen. John McCain 20018 presidential campaign, that he offered a donation for Alabama Democrat Senate nominee Doug Jones as he praised him.
John Weaver posted on Twitter a declaration that read "Proud to join my fellow true GOP warriors @MarkSalter55 @murphymike @MattSDavid @Timodc in donating to @GDouglasJones for U.S. Senate. We're doing this to put America first, but also to save the GOP. Doug Jones is an honorable man & will be a good Senator. #CountryOverParty."
The Alabama Democrat has been receiving support of several leaders as Tim Miller also declared he donated to his campaign a month ago, prior to Weaver $500.00 donation.
