Jordan- Economic delegation to visit Kenya tomorrow


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Kenya, Nairobi , Dec. 5 (Petra)- An economic delegation, headed by Minister of State for Investment Affairs, Muhannad Shehadeh, will begin a working visit to Kenya tomorrow, as the second leg of its three-nation African trip, that kicked off in Tanzania and will wrap up in Ethiopia.

He said the delegation's two-day visit is a bid to explore the " true opportunities" for Jordanian products to enter the African region.

Jordan, he added, pays due attention to the Kenyan market, which could be a gateway to the African peninsula.

During the visit , a Jordanian-Kenyan Business Forum will be held and 40 business leaders from Rwanda and Uganda will attend its deliberations, he pointed out.

The Kingdom's Chamber of Industry will sign memoranda of understanding with its Rwandan and Ugandan counterparts on the sidelines of the event's activities, he noted.
